I transfered this site from vertseven.com to it's own server space and of course I was linking to images on both domains, so some might not be working any longer. I'll fix things as they come up. Or once anyone that actually reads this site starts leaving messages.

In return I'll start posting again. Fair enough?

Till then, I'm gonna rant for a few minutes. (this is the part when I would type command-l and start typing a new URL)

If you've gotten this far, you're in it for good. Today's Daphne's 2nd birthday. When Kai turned 2, we made a big deal about it. Colleen made a cake and covered it with fondant and made a fondant monkey and giant green snake. The snake was supposed to be a vine, but no vine that I have ever seen. I made some fondant sushi and a fondant flower for Andee and Donna.

I have no idea what I gave Kai that year and neither does he. I don't remember what I gave him for his 3rd birthday, but he certainly remembers everything that happen on his 3rd year on the planet.

Daphne is no different. I got her out of bed this morning and said happy birthday. She gave me a tilted-headed stare and said "de duck duck?" She just wanted me to change her nasty crusty diaper and put her favorite robe on. Yellow with a duck on it. It's also way too small but she loves to wear it when she eats breakfast.

Now, I know that when we give her the presents that Colleen and I bought, she will tear through the paper, not say anything but try to open the toy packaging, cry when I take the toy away so I can fight with the packaging, cry again after I've given her the toy because she wants to play with the packaging and finally Kai will take everything away and not let her play with anything.

Happy birthday to the two most wonderful women in my life. :D
