This morning we were getting ready to take the kids to school. When we opened the front door we saw that it was pouring outside. This was a trailing band from TS Fay. Yay...

We began a plan of attack. I was gonna take Daphne and stick her in the back seat and run into my seat and buckle her up from the front seat, Colleen was gonna do the... Holy crap, the kids just ran out into the rain and the car isn't even open. Colleen begins to unlock the car with the remote, but Kai can't open the door.

I'm now trying to lock the front door before Daphne begins to run around the car in circles. I scooped her up while trying to keep my hood on. I bump her head into the side of the door as I'm trying to get her in her seat and she begins to yell at me. "Daddy, daddy, you ou me."

I finally get into my seat, close the door and start to get everything adjusted. The kids are freaking out because they can't take their rain coats off to then take off their back packs. In all of the commotion I can only think of one thing.
